When Confidence Looks Different than you expected
We’ve been sold a version of confidence that’s easy to spot:
Big energy. Clear voice. Firm handshake. Always knows what to say.
But that’s not the only version.
And for creatives, high-functioning individuals, neurodivergent folks, and really all people healing from burnout or trauma, confidence often looks… quieter.
Sometimes it’s choosing to try again after a season of hiding.
Sometimes it’s setting a boundary.
Sometimes it’s being honest with yourself for the first time in a while.
Sometimes it’s sharing something you made — even if it’s not perfect.
Confidence doesn’t always announce itself.
It often whispers.
It feels like alignment, not performance.
You don’t have to fake it.
You don’t have to wait until you feel 100% certain.
You don’t need to become someone else.
You can build confidence by reconnecting to what already works.
To the moments where you’ve felt most alive, most true, most you.
That’s the kind of work I’m most passionate about.
That’s the kind of confidence that lasts.
